Chipinductors are also called power inductors, high-current inductors and surface-mounted high-power inductors. It has the characteristics of miniaturization, high quality, high energy storage and low resistance. So how to measure the inductance value of the patch inductance? The following small series sorts out the methods/steps according to the online data, as follows.
Preparation: Two instruments for inductance measurement: RLC measurement (resistance, inductance and capacitance can be measured) and inductance measuring instrument.
A, familiar with the operating rules of the instrument (instructions) and matters needing attention;
Second, turn on the power supply and prepare for 15-30 minutes;
Third, select the L gear and select the measurement inductance;
4. Clamp the two clamps together and reset them to zero;
5, clamping two clamps at two ends of the chip inductor respectively, reading values and recording the number of the chip inductor;
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5, and record the measured values. Need 5~8 data;
Seven, compare several measured values: if the difference is small (0.2uH), take the average value and remember the theoretical value of inductance; If the difference is too large (0.3uH), repeat steps 2- 6 until the theoretical value of inductance is obtained;
