(1) exceeding the rated current
The rated current refers to the current of electrical equipment running at rated voltage and rated power. Is the maximum current value allowed when the patch inductor works normally. When the working current exceeds the rated current, the chip inductor burns out;
 
(2) Working temperature
The chip inductor usually works between-40℃ and+85℃. If the temperature is too high, it will exceed the center point of the chip inductor. If the chip inductor cannot work without magnetism, the temperature is too low, which will lead to the decrease of the inductor quantity and can not meet the demand of the original circuit for the chip inductor.
 
(3) Manufacturing process materials
Brand of SMD Inductors Use good materials to produce SMD Inductors, which can be used for several years. However, small factories will produce insufficient materials for chip inductors, or use inferior enameled wires. The quality of chip inductors does not meet the standards and may be damaged after several months of use;
 
(4) Service life
The chip inductor is in the shelf life within 6 months, and there will be no problem, but with the extension of service life, the performance of the chip inductor will gradually change until it can not be used;
